We are currently seeking a skilled Aircraft Cabinet Technician in Perryville, Missouri location to join our client's team dedicated to high-quality aerospace solutions.

Position Summary:

As an Aircraft Cabinet Technician, you will be involved in the modification, repair, refurbishment, and fabrication of aircraft cabinets. This full-time, non-exempt position is essential in supporting the interior installations and maintenance operations, ensuring all activities are performed according to project specifications and company standards.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform general mechanical functions on aircraft cabinets and related systems, including removal, installation, modification, re-laminating, veneering, and fabrication.
  • Conduct minor modifications and adhere to daily turnover sheets.
  • Maintain shop facility, equipment, and tooling as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shop and surrounding areas.
  • Operate independently for certain projects as designated by supervisory staff.
Job Specifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in aircraft interiors preferred.

Initiative:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain a rapid pace.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.
Additional Information:
  • Must comply with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) guidelines and company safety rules.
  • Assist in major modifications and interact with team leaders, sales representatives, customers, and vendors.
  • Requires physical ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
Supervision:
  • Work under the supervision of assigned Team Leader and Interior Management.
  • May occasionally supervise other technicians.
Environment:
  • Work primarily in a heated hangar or shop area.
  • May involve varied positions around and in the aircraft, including work on the ramp.
Equipment Used:
  • Personal and supplied power tools, including sanders, saws, and drills.
  • Standard office equipment for administrative tasks.
